About
Who I am:
I’m in my mid 30s, and I’m a first generation American of African descent… another skinny kid with a funny name. My wife and I are raising our 3 year old daughter, the most beautifullest girl in this world. I grew up in NYC, immersed in HipHop culture, listening to rap music and my posts will often reflect this. I’m more of a smart-ass than I am smart. I have a degree from one of top American Universities, but don’t really use it. Who does?
Who I’m ain’t:
I’m not Barack Obama. We both have a healthy melanin count and we may have a more international view than most Americans, but I’m not Mr Obama. I couldn’t come close to matching his depth of intelligence, experience and mental toughness. I don’t want anyone thinking that what I’m writing is what he’s thinking.
I’m not all black people. The less intelligent corners of our country tend to lump all Black people into one pile and call make judgements on the community based on the actions or thoughts of an individual.
I’m not a pundit. I’m not a policy wonk. I’m not a political analyst. I’m not a political satirist.
